The Ebor School Sport Partnership is ready for the new school year, and hope to improve on our already impressive results. In 2008-9 95% of all pupils took part in 2hrs of high quality PE in curruculum time, 45% of pupils took part in 3hrs of activity, and 34% represented their school in competition. The most pleasing figures from this years PESSYP survey was the 40% of pupils who are involved in community sport and the 16% of pupils who are involved in leadership programmes.

Some key dates for the start of the year are 1 October 2009 when the North Yorkshire Inspire Mark Project will be launched by LOCOG Director Charles Allan and the 5 October 2009 when the project will be launched to the young leaders at the EIS at the Step Into Sport Conference 2009.
